Usually I'd spew my hate over changing tone and events in the original story from the novel, but in this case.... nope, I can't do it. First, novel so far (I'm at 3/4) is mediocre, aka. not bad, but not the best either, characters don't have stable behavior as here and pacing is not suitable for short animation. All the changes actually result for far better version.

I really hope the events with golden 13 will be changed like this as well. In novel, as stupid and gullible he is, there is no wonder why everyone thinks dragons are extinct. Race so stupid simply has no means to survive. He is constantly being insulted and taken advantage of by everyone, even by side characters. It was probably intended to be funny relief events, but that ended in failure that reads like exploitation and torture which ruins the novel
